Our zip together beds can be easily converted from a large double bed to two single beds, making them the perfect solution for guest rooms, hotels, and adaptable living spaces. Available in a variety of stylish designs, our zip and link beds are practical and elegant.
Some couples like the same mattress feel. Some don’t. Some have different sleep habits. Others just want more space without compromise. That’s where zip together beds, also known as zip and link beds.
It’s simple: a zip-and-link is two single beds joined together with strong clips at the base. They are designed to hold two single 3-foot mattresses or two small single 2-foot 6-inch mattresses that can be zipped up to work as one. Want a big bed? Keep them linked. Need two singles? Unzip and unclip. Separating them only takes a few minutes. That’s the thinking behind all our zip-and-link beds.
1. Easy to Move
Moving a full super king bed through doorways and up stairs is no fun. But two singles? No problem. That’s why hotels use zip together beds—they’re easier to deliver, move, and rearrange.
2. Flexible for Guests or Couples
You’ve got family staying? Zip apart. You’ve got guests who don’t want to share a bed? No fuss. You want your own sleep space, but not two separate beds? A zip together mattress configuration is ideal for any situation.
3. No More Fighting Over Firmness
Choose a super king zip and link with a different firmness on each side. One firm. One softer. You each get what works.
The most popular is the zip and link super king bed. That’s two 3ft singles zipped together to make a 6ft super king. We also stock 5ft king size you can use with two small single mattresses. You get flexibility without losing support.
We sell full zip-together beds with the base and mattress included. Alternatively, you can call us on 01274 850 717 to buy mattresses and the base separately. Each bed base is made from solid timber and upholstered in your choice of fabric. Storage drawer options are available. Headboards are also available to match if you want one. And every zip together bed is made in the UK with quality fillings and a strong zip that won’t shift.
Will I feel the zip in the middle?
Not with most of our mattresses. You sleep on a smooth surface with no bumps or gaps. To join the mattresses together, the zips are placed on the sides at the top and bottom of the mattress. They are made so the zips are just beneath the seam on the edge of the mattress. When placed together, the seams fold over the zipper.
Can I choose different firmness levels for each side?
Yes. If one firm and one soft or medium suits you better, please call us on 01274 850 717 to place your order.
Are the bases clipped together?
Yes. Strong metal links hold the bases together. They won’t move in the night.
Do you deliver zip and link beds assembled?
No, but they come in parts for easy access and full assembly instructions.
Can I use a fitted sheet over both mattresses?
Yes. Use a super king fitted sheet when the beds are zipped together. Or two singles when they’re apart.
Are these beds suitable for tall people?
Yes. A zip-and-link super king bed offers 6 feet 6 inches in length, which is standard. Stop compromising. Get the space and support you both need. Sleep better. Together or apart. Order your zip together bed today.
